I have a first class honours degree in biomedical science and over 3 years experience working in creative agencies within the pharmaceutical industry. This has equipped me with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. These skills are now central to my approach in UX/UI design, allowing me to analyse user research effectively, make data-driven decisions, and create clean, pixel-perfect designs.

I have a background in Account Management, where I led large-scale events and digital projects for top global pharmaceutical companies. I managed internal teams, external partners, and client relationships while ensuring projects stayed on track, met briefs, and remained within budget.
While working closely with designers, I became increasingly involved in design myself—creating client slide decks, microsites, and documents. This hands-on experience sparked my passion for UX/UI, where I found the perfect balance between my technical background and creative skills.

My understanding of design principles began in my school years from studying art until A-Level and was later reinforced by working in creative agencies. I then completed CareerFoundry’s UX/UI program in 10 months through rapid learning, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to continuous growth. I now have a deep understanding of user-centred design and was recognised as one of the top students in both UX/UI design and animation courses.
I’ve gained hands-on experience across the entire design process, from user research and concept development to wireframing, prototyping, user testing, and iteration. I have experience designing within iOS and Material 3 guidelines, creating responsive web designs, and developing unique branding and graphic design elements. Additionally, I’ve worked on redesigns, analysing apps for usability issues, streamlining user flows, and enhancing visual appeal to improve user experience and accessibility.
Since completing the course, I have been supporting a psychology company with freelance design work including brochures, social media posts and plans for rebranding and website optimisation.

I’ve built my own fully responsive portfolio website using Framer. Initially, I designed my case studies in Figma, so transferring them to Framer required careful consideration to ensure the designs remained responsive across different screen sizes. Rebuilding this as a website was a commitment that involved significant self-research to learn the software. Now, I’m confident in developing responsive layouts and creating fully functioning websites.
I’m also familiar with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through research and discussions with software engineers, which helps me structure designs with development in mind. I understand the limitations of development and the importance of clear communication to ensure smooth handoffs and project efficiency.
